Gi-NeXt
The Gi-NeXt collaborative program is implemented under the Greek NSRF 2014-2020 action titled “Innovation Clusters” of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In the Gi-NeXt program, eleven Greek companies and two universities participate and develop six ambitious collaborative projects in the following areas: serious games with psychometric tools, cloud-based platforms for games and applications, player management libraries in competitions and gaming, software libraries for the development of real-time multiplayer games and finally, development of algorithms and computational models for games of great complexity.
The overall program, with a budget of circa 3 million euro, is structured in the following pillars of activity:
